Brick & Grit — Built from Frustration. Driven by Control.
Brick & Grit didn’t start in a boardroom. It started on the mats — and ended in a workshop where you can see examples of our work today.
We dealt with overseas production failures: slipped timelines, incorrect prints, inconsistent materials and garments that didn’t survive a single training camp.
We realised that if we wanted it done properly, we had to build it ourselves.
Why “Brick & Grit”?
The name reflects the process.
Strong foundations are built brick by brick. Manufacturing is no different. Every pattern, every seam and every production system must be built step by step to create something solid.
And to build properly, day in and day out, requires grit.
Brick represents structure. Grit represents discipline. Together, they define how we operate.
UK Manufacturing. No Compromise.
Every garment we produce is printed, cut and sewn in-house at our UK workshop as part of our UK Made & Zero Waste manufacturing model. By keeping production under our roof, we remove the uncertainty that comes with container shipping, factory miscommunication and quality shortcuts.
- Accountability: If it carries our name, it has passed through our hands.
- Transparency: Our Aylesbury workshop is open by appointment. Meet the team, see the machines and understand exactly how your gear is made.
- Integrity: We control the patterns, the stitch count and the fabric weight.
This is controlled UK fightwear manufacturing — not outsourced production with crossed fingers.

Skilled Garment Construction
Built by Those Who Train
We aren’t just garment manufacturers. We train.
We understand how a rashguard should feel under pressure. We know how Muay Thai shorts must move in a round. We know where seams fail during scrambles and what separates average kit from proper fightwear.
We don’t build fashion pieces. We build tools for the gym.
Control Over Compromise
Brick & Grit exists because we chose control over compromise.
Manufacturing locally means:
- No container delays
- No translation errors
- No unexpected production changes
- No shortcuts on materials
It also means responsibility. Every custom fightwear order, team kit and production run is handled inside this building.
Built to Last
We don’t produce disposable apparel. We manufacture fightwear designed to handle pressure, repetition and hard training.
Whether it’s a one-off custom build, a structured gym partnership or brand manufacturing, the standard stays the same.
Controlled. Consistent. Built properly.
Where We’re Headed
Brick & Grit is a long-term manufacturing project supporting fighters, gyms and trade partners looking for reliable UK production.
This isn’t fast fashion. It’s in-house fightwear manufacturing for people who take their training seriously.
