Brick & Grit manufactures custom BJJ team kits UK academies can build an identity around. Matching rashguards, spats and shorts, designed as one kit and produced as one batch, all printed, cut and sewn in-house at our Aylesbury workshop. We use no pre-made blanks, no heat-applied vinyl and no overseas factories. Your kit starts life as a raw fabric roll.
Standard production takes 3–5 working days from artwork approval and payment confirmation, and express options may be available depending on workshop capacity. Because we control every stage under one roof, a full academy order moves straight from approved artwork to the cutting table and sewing line. Therefore restocks are fast, with no overseas delays.
Who We Build Team Kits For
- BJJ academies that want every member on the mats in matching kit
- No-gi teams competing in rashguards, spats and shorts
- Competition squads that need consistent kit across weight classes and belt ranks
- Kids and junior programmes, with youth sizing alongside men’s and women’s ranges
If you’re kitting out a whole club, our gyms & teams service manages the order from artwork to delivery. You can see how we work with clubs on our team fightwear page, and junior squads are covered in depth on our custom kids fightwear page.
Fully Sublimated, Built for the Mats
Every kit is printed with full sublimation. The dye is embedded into the fabric fibres rather than sitting on top of them, so academy logos and sponsor panels will not crack, peel or fade. Additionally, the compression pieces in every kit are built to one specification:
- 230 GSM polyester/elastane blend on rashguards and spats
- True 4-way stretch for grips, guard work and scrambles
- Flatlock stitching that sits flat against the skin
- Reinforced seams at high-stress points
Shorts are cut from performance fabric and printed with the same sublimation process. For garment-level detail, see our custom rashguards, custom spats and custom fight shorts pages.

Belt-Rank Colourways and Batches That Match
Belt-rank colourways put a whole academy in one design without hiding anyone’s grade. We manufactured Viking BJJ’s custom BJJ rash guards in white, blue, purple, brown and black rank colourways, so every member trains in kit that matches their rank. Because we store your patterns, artwork files and sizing breakdowns, a member who joins months after the first run receives kit identical to the original batch. Additionally, manufacturing in-house lets us run a UK made, zero waste approach from roll to finished garment.
One-Off Pieces or Structured Team Production
Some clubs need one kit for a single competitor. Others need a full academy run across men’s, women’s and youth sizes. We build both the same way:
- One-off pieces with no minimum order
- Bulk academy runs, priced on quantity and garment mix
- Fully managed online team stores, as we run for Viking BJJ and 313, so members buy their kit direct
- Exact-match repeat orders, because your patterns and artwork stay on file
We ship worldwide, and UK production keeps restocks quick between seasons. If your club also runs a wrestling programme, we build custom wrestling singlets to the same compression specification.
Custom BJJ Team Kits UK FAQs
Is there a minimum order for a BJJ team kit? No. One-off pieces have no minimum order, so a single competitor can order a full kit. Bulk pricing applies to team runs and is quoted on quantity and specification.
Can you make belt-rank colourway rashguards? Yes. We build rank colourways in white, blue, purple, brown and black, as we did for Viking BJJ’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team rashguards.
How long does a team kit take to produce? Standard production is 3–5 working days from artwork approval and payment confirmation. Express options may be available depending on workshop capacity.
Can new members order the same kit months later? Yes. We store your patterns, artwork files and sizing breakdowns, so your club kit reorders match the original batch exactly.
Do you make kids sizes for junior programmes? Yes. Men’s, women’s and youth sizing is available across the kit, so junior squads train in the same design as the adults.
Can you run an online store for our academy? Yes. We offer fully managed online team stores, as we run for Viking BJJ and 313. Members buy their kit direct and we handle production.
Do you ship outside the UK? Yes. We ship worldwide. Because every kit is made in our Aylesbury workshop, UK clubs also get fast restocks with no overseas delays.
